It was hard for me to accept it, but it was the most logical decision. We have just stopped the activity for a brand that we were going to launch these days. The most important reason: there is a company in the United Kingdom that does the same thing and that has the trademark registered there.
In parallel we have fallen into the same name
Also developed one that is similar to theirs overseas data when we were not yet aware of its existence. We have managed to register our trademark in Germany without any problems. The reason why it has been difficult for me to make this final decision is because the other company does not operate outside the United Kingdom.
The argument that has convinced me is this
What would a potential buyer think how authorities can manage emergencies about the brand? At the very least it would be a risk that makes the resale value of the brand decrease. Yes, we created this brand with the aim of reselling it.
Now we are not starting from scratch but we are at the point where we have to find a new name. Yesterday we had a meeting to make a decision but the winners in the end were not convincing. Today there will be a new round. Let’s see where this leads us.
So far, there are 12 reviews with an average of 3.5 stars
That’s what I would call a pretty bad average. Anything below 4.1 makes me feel uncomfortable. If a product starts with a rating of 3, there must be a fault. Personally, as a buyer, I wouldn’t touch a product with such a low average rating. I’ve already mentioned this recently, but it seems gambler data like a curious case to me, so I’ve detailed it a little more below.
Why a product with a low average can still have sales
There are several reasons why a product with a low average can still have sales. It’s not all over when one-star reviews come in.
The price-quality ratio is still very good
The buyer takes the risk because he knows he can return the product.
One-star reviews are not relevant to him.
The buyer looks for authentic reviews because he knows there is a lot of cheating.
Yesterday, for example, we achieved six sales of a product with an average rating of 3.5. The reasons for this are simple.
